- To promote a good relationship between the College administration and Alumni within and outside the country.
- The Association shall also encourage camaraderie among Alumni that will nurture the “Jamia Millia Islamia Spirit” of self-help in every old student.
- To stimulate contacts with old students, the students and the staff of the University and its allied institutions.
- To provide ways and means for cultural contacts with the outside world in general and educational institutions in particularly leading to a wider cultural outlook.
- To arrange seminars, debates, workshops and also to arrange cultural and social welfare programs
- To help and promote the advancement of special branches of learning such as Engineering, Medicine, Computer and such other branches and interests as the Association may from time to time include.
- To make every possible contribution to the educational expansion and cultural advancement of the country in general and the University in particular.
- To extend help to dependents of old students and other promising students in the matter of preparing for competitive examinations and securing jobs.
- Establishing an information bureau to help job seekers, scholars and students, etc.
- Bringing out a journal and other particular publication of its own.
- To construct a building in Bihar for maintaining a better office of the Association, library and reading room for students, working girls and boys who may require this facility.
- To take all possible steps and actions within its affordability to strengthen the Sovereign Socialist Secular Democratic Republic of India.
- To promote harmony and the spirit of common brotherhood amongst all the people of India transcending religious, linguistic and regional or sectional diversities; to renounce practices derogatory to the dignity of women.
- To contribute taking all possible steps in building communal harmony in every section of Indian Society.
- All the incomes, earnings, moveable/or immovable properties of the society shall be solely utilized and applied towards the promotion of its aims and objects only as set forth in the Memorandum of the society.
